2025 MCA Awards
MCA recognizes those who have contributed and performed exceptionally in the advancement of Chiropractic across the state and as a profession. Some of these awards require a nomination to be given, some are designated by the board and are given based on professional contributions to MCA and the Chiropractic profession.
The deadline for Awards is Friday, March 7, 2025.
Chiropractor of the Year
This award shall be given on the basis of:
- Current member of MCA in good standing
- Outstanding service to the profession and MCA, with emphasis on the immediate year
- Community service record
- Particular service to the state or nation
Claudius Galen Award
This is a special award given to recipients outside the profession who have made definite contributions to Chiropractic.
Outstanding Educator Award
This award shall be given on the basis of:
- Contribution to the MCA education programming.
- Continous dedication to the advancement of Chiropractic through education.
John Allenberg Meritorious Award
This award shall be given on the basis of:
- Current MCA member in good standing.
- For continued service and dedication to the Chiropractic profession through academic and political leadership; both regional and national
- Commitment to the growth and development of Chiropractic through legislative advocacy.
Chiropractic Assistant of the Year
This award shall be given on the basis of:
1. Nominating Doctor of Chiropractic is a current member of MCA in good standing
2. Shows dedication to chiropractic patients, professional in their work, helps others within the practice and volunteers in their community.
